About me

I am a member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists) and ACPP (Association of Core Process Psychotherapists)

As a musician for nearly 20 years, I have specialised in methods that boost wellbeing and foster healthy relationships. I have worked in places as varied as schools, prisons, dementia wards and neonatal baby units. Connecting with others and celebrating in our shared humanity naturally led me to become a psychotherapist.

I have been concerned for the health of the planet since I was young and have been involved in environmental and social justice campaigning for many years. Drawing on Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects and nonviolence teachings, I also facilitate group work and climate cafés where deep feelings about the world can be expressed and acknowledged.

I love the varied and vibrant musical cultures of this world. I graduated from School of Oriental and African Studies with a BA in Music. I then studied at ISI Surakarta in Indonesia for several years learning traditional Javanese music called gamelan, which I play and teach in Cambridge and London.

I see clients in my private practice in Fulbourn, Cambridge and online.
