About me
As a musician for nearly 20 years, I have specialised in methods that boost wellbeing and foster healthy relationships. I have worked in places as varied as schools, prisons, dementia wards and neonatal baby units. Connecting with others intros way and celebrating in our shared humanity naturally led me to Core Process Psychotherapy.
I have been concerned for the health of the planet since I was young and have been involved in environmental and social justice campaigning for many years. Drawing on Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects and nonviolence teachings, I also facilitate group work and climate cafés where deep feelings about the world can be expressed and acknowledged.
I love the varied and vibrant musical cultures of this world. I graduated from School of Oriental and African Studies with a BA in Music. I then studied at ISI Surakarta in Indonesia for several years learning traditional Javanese music called gamelan, which I play and teach in Cambridge and London.
I am a trainee member of the UKCP (United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapists) and ACPP (Association of Core Process Psychotherapists)
I see clients in my private practice in Fulbourn, Cambridge and online.
